SMS Services

sms paslaugos

For clients of Medicinos Bankas having a mobile phone we offer using the service
of SMS messages as provided by our bank.

By sending a special SMS message you can learn:

  • Balances of accounts;
  • Changes of balances of accounts;
  • Last (five) amounts charged into the account;
  • Last (five) amounts charged off the account;
  • Last amounts charged into the account in excess of a specified limit;
  • Last amounts charged off the account in excess of a specified limit.

How to order the service of SMS messages?

In order to use this service we invite you to conclude the agreement for
providing the information on the accounts by SMS and electronic messages.
The agreement may be concluded via internet banking system (IBS)  or the
nearest bank branch, customer service centre or subdivision.

Memo for Users of SMS Service

You should know the following about queries and answers:
•
All the SMS messages shall be composed under the same principle and
   consist of three main elements: user password, function code and
   additional functional parameters;
• It is recommended to write queries in capital letters. In a query, the user
   password, function and its parameters should be separated with space;
• Answer to a query consists of title and the answer. The title provides general
   information about the message itself – code of selected service, answer
   sending date and time. Elements of answer: account sequence number
   according to agreement, three - digit currency code at the account sequence
   number and reply to your query;
• Amounts in reply on account balance are shown between brackets, and
   accuracy is two digits after dot;
• Comma is represented by dot. For example: thirty four euro and five cents
   are shown as <34.05>;
• In statements, minus sign means that the amount was charged off from
   the account, e.g.: expenses of 100 euro are shown as - 100.00. An amount
   without any sign means that the amount was charged into your account.

How Can One Start Using the SMS Service?

First of all, you should activate the service with a SMS message. Please enter a
command YYYYY A XXXXX, where YYYYY is your PIN, your initial password as
specified in agreement, and XXXXX is your permanent password (4–9 digits).
Please wait for an SMS message confirming successful input of password:
“The new password is accepted. GSM-Bank service is activated”.

If you enter wrong PIN code five times, your phone number will be included into
the ‘blacklist’ and further queries will be ignored. In this case you will receive a
message stating “Please apply to the bank for unlocking”.
